The most important test is the national campaign to address the stigma associated with the emerging Corona virus.

As part of the national campaign to address the stigma associated with the emerging Corona virus called ‘The Most Important Test’. Association Najdeh worked with its main partner in the campaign, UNICEF, to increase community awareness in all Palestinian camps and gatherings. This was achieved by distributing leaflets and placing posters in neighbourhoods about the importance of solidarity in this crisis, rejecting the stigma that pursues the infected persons and their family by addressing discrimination and accepting the facts.

‘The Most Important Test’ campaign aims to strengthen solidarity between people, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and not to turn fear into rejection. The campaign also works to address the stigma and discrimination that the infected persons and their family are exposed to from society, which can lead to increased psychological stress on them.

The awareness campaign is based on the importance of taking the necessary measures if anyone feels symptoms of the Corona virus in order to protect themselves and the community from the risk of transmission.
