Beirut –  Association Najdeh organised a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Beirut. During the event, a memorandum was delivered to the Red Cross demanding the protection of hospitals and health centres in the Gaza Strip. Mrs. Laila Al-Ali, Director of Association Najdeh, stated that this stand is an expression of our solidarity with our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are facing genocide. She criticised the United Nations organisations for remaining neutral under American pressure and called on the international community to intervene immediately and seriously to stop the genocide, open all crossings, and lift the siege on the Gaza Strip without conditions and immediately. This stand is an expression of the Palestinian people’s rejection in Lebanon of the massacre in the Gaza Strip, with wide public participation.
