Association Najdeh received a delegation from the Movement for Peace (Movimiento por la Paz (MPDL), consisting of Ms. Maite Serrano and Mr. Isiba Amatrian from the Regional Office in Amman-Jordan and an accompanying delegation. The delegation was received by Mrs. Hala Marei, Director of Tyre Branch at Association Najdeh, project and program officials, and the association’s team.
The visit came within the framework of strengthening the partnership between the two associations. The delegation was briefed on the activities of a group of children on equality between children and girls in the Centre for Education and Psychosocial Support.
It also toured the Vocational Rehabilitation Centre, where they spoke to students and teachers about the progress of courses, training materials and the economic and social conditions of students.
At the end of the tour, interventions were made on the situation of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and in the Tyre area especially. The importance of the current visit and the continuation of visits to the Palestinian camps in is crutial because it represents a form of solidarity and allows Association Najdeh to create ongoing positive developments.
