On Monday, 20th May 2019, Association Najdeh had welcomed and received a delegation from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in its psychosocial and educational support center at Baddawi camp.<\/p>\n
The delegation members were SDC director-General Ambassador Manuel Sager, Ms. Nathalie Chuard – Head of MENA division, Mr. Philipp Sas – Chief of Staff South Cooperation, Jana Zemp, First Secretary, Deputy Head Swiss Cooperation Office, Embassy of Switzerland in Lebanon, Swiss Cooperation Office, Christelle Moussallem, National Programme Officer (Protection), Embassy of Switzerland in Lebanon, Swiss Cooperation Office, and other members from the Swiss embassy in Beirut. The Executive Director of Association Najdeh Ms. Leila El Ali and the Project Coordinator Intisar Abu Salem accompanied the delegation.<\/span><\/p>\n The visit included a meeting with the Executive Director of Association Najdeh Ms. Leila El Ali, who briefed the delegation on the objectives and programs of the Association and the services provided, in response to the needs of the local community in the camps. Also, she introduced the work and intervention with children at the centers. Then the coordinator of Baddawi camp branch briefed on the programs of the services and activities provided in Baddawi camp and its implications and impact at the community level. \nBesides, Ms. El Ali referred to the work of Association Najdeh with women and empowering them at the social, economic, psychological and human rights levels, pointing to the importance of the goals achieved through initiatives and committees for women.<\/p>\n
